On Saturday 30th July 2016, Lammermuir House Care Home in Dunbar celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the home.
The home was officially opened by her Majesty the Queen in 1986. 30 years later, Queen Elizabeth II’s representative Lord Lieutenant Michael Williams came to the home’s party helping them to celebrate this momentous achievement.
Jessica Millburn, Home Manager, said: “We had a lovely day celebrating our 30th anniversary. Residents, relatives and guests to the home were piped down to the garden by the Piper who had attended our grand opening all of those years ago. Alongside the Lord Lieutenant, we were also joined by our Regional Manager Anne-Marie McKeich and Managing Director for Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man, John Kirk. We were all entertained with music, fabulous food and a glass of Pimms to celebrate the day. I want to thank everyone for coming. Here’s to the next 30 years.”
