Four residents from Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside put their best game faces in as they took on a number of other teams in their local Highland Games.
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “The residents enjoyed taking part in the Highland Games, which are a regular occurrence here in Aberdeen. Our residents, Irene, Lillian, Jim and Sybil went to Westburn Park and had a great time playing Bocca, testing their knowledge with a quiz and taking part in some chair based activities.
“Once the competition was out of the way, the residents tucked into a picnic before returning home to fill us all in on the details of the competition. A team is already being pulled together for next year’s games.”
