The Christmas Spirit has definitely arrived in Longfield Care Home in Eglinton as residents welcome three different choirs in for a carol service.
Louise McClusky, Home Manager, said: “It was a lovely angelic day here at Longfield. We welcomed the St Oliver Plunket School Choir, the Broad Bridge School Choir and Scouts into the home. Whilst the choirs sang we served mulled wine and mince pies. It was a lovely festive atmosphere.”
The residents have also held their annual Christmas party to celebrate the time of year. Everyone was joyous and had lots of fun singing and dancing to some Christmas hits.
