Laughter is good for the soul and this was certainly the case for Longfield Care Home in Eglinton.
The home celebrated International Joke Day with everyone having a good old laugh during joke time.
Louise McClusky, Home Manager, explains: “Everyone, the team and residents alike all got into the joke day spirit. There was lots of dressing up and posing and jokes being shared around the home. We also had a group visit called the Melody Makers. They sketched a number of our residents and our teams in funny poses which again raised more laughs. Everyone had a lovely day and it was nice to hear the sound of laughter for the entire day. It truly was infectious.”
