Everyone at Middleton Hall Care Home in Uphall bid a fond farewell to Deputy Home Manager Linda Bruce. Linda retired on Thursday 16th June after being at Middleton Hall for 27 years.
Ann Simpson, Home Manager, said: “Linda will be missed by everyone here. She was a stalwart for ensuring that everyone was immaculate when they worked in the care home, and would regularly tell members of the team to remove hoop earrings, necklaces and nail polish. This high standard was picked up on, and our Personal Activities Leader Katie created a cake topper highlighting Linda’s positive and robust stance.
“Before she left, Linda thought she’d be a little bit of a rebel. She came into the home with her nails painted, hoop earrings in and a lovely necklace on. True to form all of the team repeatedly told her to take off her non-uniform items. I think this goes to show how much of a positive impact Linda has had on our team here. We all wish you all the best as you take on new ventures Linda.”
