Midfield Lodge Care Home in Cambridge is celebrating the success of one of its Care Assistants after she successfully graduated from the Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP) programme.
Sherrill Thomas, Care Home Manager said: “Everyone here congratulates Eldris on her success. We’ve all supported her every step of the way and it’s great to see her hard work pay off. She is a great asset to the care home, and provides fantastic support to the residents here. She’s a great part of the team. Well done again! I can’t wait to see you putting your new skills to use.”
The newly qualified CHAP is now able to provide some general nurse duties, such as medication rounds. This benefit’s the home as it enables the nurse to deal with more complex issues.
Jo Vasey, Four Seasons Health Care Managing Director for the South East of England, said: “We’re all really proud of every single CHAP and nurse who mentors them through the programme. Here at Four Seasons we’re committed to developing our staff and this is one way we can do that. Well done again! All of your hard work and dedication has paid off.”
