Five members of the team at Northlea Court Care Home in Cramlington have been awarded Recognition of Care and Kindness awards for always going above and beyond in their roles.
Julie Herron, Judith Douglas, Stacey Armstrong, Lorraine Johnson and Jacqui Armstrong were all presented a ROCK Award and certificate by Sandra Smith, Home Manager, in a small awards ceremony at the home. The girls were nominated by a relative who recognised all that they do for the residents.
The nomination said: "These were my Dad's special girls - they made a BIG difference to my Dad's last few months at Northlea Court. They always made time and went above and beyond their duties to make sure my Dad was comfortable.
"We could not have got through the last few months if it wasn't for these wonderful caring people. They kept our spirits up in the down times - always working with a smile on their faces."
Sandra, Home Manager, told us: "I'm very proud of the team and everything they do on a daily basis. It's so nice they can be recognised in this way. Well done to them all!"
A ROCK award is a nationwide honour that specifically highlights the impact a Four Season Health Care employee has made on the lives of people living in one of their care homes. An internal prize, staff are nominated for an award by either residents, their relatives or friends, who have witnessed or experienced staff members demonstrating excellent standards of care and kindness in their role.
