Residents at the Old Vicarage Care Home in Worksop celebrated Bonfire Night all warm and toasty at home, singing and dancing to some of their favourite songs.
Pauline Clews, Home Manager, said: “Our residents had a lovely afternoon singing and dancing with our entertainer. Some of our residents took their turn behind the mic, some even put the entertainer to shame. In the evening some of the residents watched the fireworks from the window with a lovely warm drink.”
The home also welcomed the Care Quality Commission at the beginning of November, and was rated ‘Good’ with regards to the service it provides.
Pauline Clews, Home Manager added: “I would like to thank all of the team for their hard work on gaining a ‘Good’ rating in the latest Care Quality Commission inspection. This just re-emphasises how much we care for our residents and are committed to ensuring they receive individualised care according to their needs.”
