Over the past couple of weeks the British Summer weather finally arrived in true style. Knowing how unpredictable our weather can be, everyone has been making the most of the lovely sunshine, and getting some much needed Vitamin D.
Residents at the Old Vicarage Care Home in Worksop definitely made the most of the sunshine as they took all of their regular activities outside.
Pauline Clews, Home Manager said: “The residents told us that they really wanted to make the most of the lovely summer weather, so that’s what they did. The team helped them outside before setting up the karaoke and holding a little singing competition. The residents had such a wonderful time; they even had their evening meal outside due to the weather staying so warm.”
