On Tuesday 10th May, the team at Pellon Care Centre in Halifax celebrated a number of land mark achievements.
The celebratory event recognized 6 team members with Long Service Awards, and 2 care assistants who’d successfully graduated from the Care Home Assistant Practitioner Programme.
Laura Clegg, Home Manager, said: “I’m very proud to have such a committed and dedicated team her at Pellon. Both Faith and Debbie worked really hard during the 12 week programme. All of their hard work will have paid off though as they can now complete some nursing duties, giving the nurse time to deal with any complex issues that arise.
“As well as that, we celebrated a combined total of 81 years continued experience here at Pellon, with 6 members of the team receiving Long Service Awards. Having the same team for such a long time has a positive effect on our residents. The continuity helps many of them embrace the team as part of their family, and enables them to get to know each other on a very personal level.”
The following team members were recognised at the ceremony:
- Faith Whitehead – Care Home Assistant Practitioner
- Debbie Hall – Care Home Assistant Practitioner
- Dawn Dewhirst – 15 years’ service
- Amanda Ismail – 15 years’ service
- Diane Spruce – 15 years’ service
- Catheryn Jeffrey – 15 years’ service
- Parveen Asif – 11 years’ service
- Ghazala Aleem – 10 years’ service
Congratulations to you all.
