Irene Pike, a resident at Woodcot Lodge Care Home in Gosport got her knitting needles out to help a local charity in the area.
Irene knitted dozens of scarfs and donated them to the Jacobs Well charity – which is involved in a furniture re-use network and also helps the homeless.
Vickie Wylde, Home Manager said: “Irene is an enthusiastic knitter. It’s great to see her achievements being acknowledged, and I’m very proud that she has been able to help the Jacobs Well charity. It’s great to see our residents harnessing their hobbies and sharing their passion with others.”
The charity took to Facebook to thank Mrs Pike for the lovely scarfs and proceeded to put them to good use.
