Residents have lots of fun at Botham Hall

No two days are ever the same at Botham Hall Care Home in Huddersfield.

The team work hard to ensure the residents always have something to do, whatever the weather.

Christina Halonka, Home Manger, explained: “Keeping residents active and providing them with things to do is very important to us here at Botham Hall.

“Whether it’s ensuring our resident have a fantastic birthday, special wishes go to Maggy and Betty who celebrated their birthdays recently, both with parties and two of the biggest birthday cakes I’ve ever seen! to excursions and trips out.

“One of our recent excursions was during our monthly reminisce trip, were residents played games from their childhood, before settling down for a well-deserved cup of tea.”

It’s not all go at Botham Hall, the home does have a regular four legged visitor to keep them company.

Christina Halonka said: “The residents love it when our pet therapy dog, Benji comes in to visit. It’s amazing what impact such a small animal can have on the residents.”
