Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia can have a detrimental impact on the way people live their lives.
Here at Four Seasons Health Care, the people who work in our homes care for people with this disease and see the changes in them on a day to day basis. Our team do their upmost to ensure the residents still retain a high quality of life.
The team at Ringshill Care Home in Huntingdon are taking a stand – or should we say seat – against this disease as they take part in a charity bike ride on 25th May 2016.
Katie Wilkinson, Home Manager, explained: “The tea decided to tackle the 8 mile trek at Grafham Water as they see, talk to and care for people who suffer with dementia on a daily basis. They recognise what a good charity this is, and want to do all they can to help raise funds to tackle this disease. Not content with single riders, some of the team will be riding tandem. I want to take this opportunity to wish the team good luck.”
Everyone at Four Seasons wishes the Ringshill Care Home Team the best of luck. We’ll keep you updated with their progress.
