Robert Anderson celebrates his 90th year by sharing his story

The theme for Care Home Open Day this year focuses on celebration and the Queen’s 90th birthday. Here at Four Seasons Health Care we thought it would be nice to share some of our resident’s stories who are also celebrating their 90th year!

Chasedale presents Robert Anderson

The former Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Blyth, who turns 90 on 20th September believes the Queen has improved relations with other countries. He said “people admired her when she made her first radio broadcast, despite her awareness of how difficult it had been for her father.”

Robert aka Bob, was born and bred in Bebside. He married his wife Murial in September 1960 and had two beautiful daughters.

Bob has met the Queen on two occasions, once at the Queen’s garden party in 1993 and once when the law courts were opened in Bedlington in 1994.

Now a resident at Chasedale Robert enjoys spending his days relaxing and joining in with the activities held in the home.
