Whether it’s a cup of tea with your soaps, a chance to watch your favourite sports team in action, or a gritty drama, many of us like to relax in front of the TV.
Residents in the dementia unit at Sedbury Park Care Home in Chepstow used to watch their shows on a TV which was a little out of date. This is no longer the case, thanks to local supermarket Tesco.
Sue Bennett, Home Manager, said: “I want to thank Steve Blake from Tesco for donating the smart TV to us. The residents will get lots of joy out of it, especially as they’ll be able to play games as well as watch their favourite shows on a larger screen. Thanks again.”
