A senior care assistant from Westview Lodge Care Home in Hartlepool received an award after being recognised for her caring nature.
Pauline Cannon was nominated for a Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) award by resident Ernest Small and his family. Mr Small wrote in his nomination: “Pauline works extremely hard and is dedicated to making care special.
A ROCK award is a nationwide honour that specifically highlights the impact a Four Season Health Care employee has made on the lives of people living in one of their care homes. An internal prize, staff are nominated for an award by either residents, their relatives or friends, who have witnessed or experienced staff members demonstrating excellent standards of care and kindness in their role.
Victoria Simpson, Home Manager said: “This award for Pauline is very well deserved. I want to congratulate her on her success and thank her for all of her hard work and determination. I want to thank Mr Small and his family for taking the time to recognise the work Pauline and the rest of the team do.”
