Here at Four Seasons we value all of our team members. We encourage and support them to complete courses to help them develop their skills, enabling them to further enhance their career.
One such way for Care Assistants to do this, is for them to complete the Care Home Assistant Practitioners (CHAPs) 12 week training programme. Whilst completing this course, the Care Assistants can learn how to support nurses with certain duties potentially freeing the nurse to deal with a more complex issue.
Six of our Care Assistant in Wales enrolled onto this programme, and on Monday 14th March they successfully graduated as Care Home Assistant Practitioners.
Heather Hunter, Resident Experience Regional Manager for Central and Wales said: “I want to offer my congratulations to the ladies on their graduation. It’s great to see all of their hard work celebrated in this way. I bet their all looking forward to putting their new skills to work in their homes.”
The newly qualified CHAPS are:
- Rebecca Bramwell & Victoria Dalley from Ty Hafod Care Home
- Stacey Slade & Claire Brewin from Ty Gwynno Care Home
- Alix Beerensbrock & Jane Wiltshire from Red Rose Care Home
