Care Home’s summer Fair helps to raise funds for special resident experiences.
We all have things we want to do in our lives. Some people call them bucket lists, other people just have that one thing they want to experience before it’s too late.
The team and visitors to Southfield Court Care Home in Huddersfield held their Summer Fair on Saturday 13th August and raised over £500 to help them provide special experiences for their residents.
Clare McCourt, Home Manager, said: “Our summer fair was a great success. We had a number of activities for people to get involved in, with the raffle proving a great success. I want to thank everyone for all of their hard work to make the day great. A special thank you should be given to the members of our local community who kindly donated our raffle prizes. Without your help, we wouldn’t have raised as much for our residents.
“The money will be put to good use, and I’ll share with you shortly how the money has been spent.”
