Everyone at Woodview Care Home in Lincoln offered a little sweet treat to people who wanted to talk about dementia.
On Friday 20th May, members of the team trialled a career as coffee barristers as they served lattes, cappuccinos – alongside a traditional British brew – with a range of delicious cakes on the side.
Residents and their relatives who took part in the afternoon, not only chatted about dementia and what it means for them, but donations were also made based on the ‘barristers’ skills. All donations went to the Alzheimer’s Society helping to continue the battle against this progressive disease.
