Residents at Triangle Care Home in Wheatley took part in some very special pet therapy, when they got to meet a Shetland pony and some birds of prey.
Pet therapy really appeals to residents as it helps them to relax.
Sue Davies, Home Manager, said: “We wanted to surprise our residents with a different type of pet therapy this week. They all loved meeting the Shetland pony, owls and a falcon, with some residents being brave enough to hold them.
“My thanks go out to the group who brought in the animals. You made our resident’s day, and gave them lots of stories to tell their families.”
