At an awards ceremony held at the home last month, Home Manager, Vickie Wylde presented the team with their Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) awards, after being nominated by relatives and their residents.
The awards were given to: Donna Ryan (Senior Care Assistant), Dan Kington (Head Chef), Myra Wadhams (Senior Care Assistant), Paul Lee (Maintenance Man), Kim Petts (CHAP), Tiffany Myhill (Head of Housekeeping), Diane Paget (Clinical Lead) after being praised for going the extra mile.
Vickie Wylde, Home Manager, said: “I’m so proud of the team here at Woodcot Lodge. These commendations reiterate the sentiments I regularly pass onto the team. They all go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our resident’s care needs are met, whilst providing special experiences.”
A ROCK award is a nationwide honour that specifically highlights the impact a Four Season Health Care employee has made on the lives of people living in one of their care homes. An internal prize, staff are nominated for an award by either residents, their relatives or friends, who have witnessed or experienced staff members demonstrating excellent standards of care and kindness in their role.
