Residents, relatives and the care team celebrated Dignity Action Day at Dane House Care Home in Brighton on 1st February by creating a dignity tree.
Barbara Evans, Home Manager, said: “We got everyone to write what dignity meant to them on a little leaf, and then stuck it to the tree. The tree has been represented in the Four Seasons and is a beautiful piece of Dane House artwork that we’re all proud to show off. It’s also nice to have a visual reminder of how we can respect people’s dignity within the home 365 days of the year.”
