Layden Court enjoy spring inspired drawing classes

The arts and crafts club at Layden Court Care Home in Maltby have been using spring and Easter as the themes for their life drawing classes.

The residents have been encouraged to do some life drawings in their classes based on plants and wildlife that have become more active since the weather has warmed up.

Jenny Hololob, Home Manager, said: “The residents have really enjoyed themselves, and some of the artistic talent we have here at Layden Court is fantastic. Some of our residents drew plants, others drew birds and some even found our large spring duck which they sketched – mainly because he stayed still long enough! The artwork is now being shown off throughout the home, and is bringing in lots of admiration from visitors.”
