The warmer weather has certainly helped residents at Marlborough Court Care Home in Thamesmead have a spring in their step, as their recent activities have proven.
Louise Hulme, Home Manger, explained: “The residents have been busy giving the garden a spring clean, before planting new blooms to inject some lovely colour and attract the local wildlife. They’ve also been readying the vegetable patch, so they can grow some lovely delights for us all to use later in the year.
“When they haven’t been busy in the garden, the ladies were getting all glammed up for Ladies Day at Aintree whilst the gents sang all in eager anticipation for the Grand National.
“We’ve recently held an Easter egg hunt at the home, which people of all ages enjoyed. It really has been a lovely couple of weeks at the home.”
