Residents, relatives and the care team from Regency Care Home in Whitefield have become anxious parents again, as they waited patiently for their Easter chicks to hatch.
Mary Crossley, Home Manager, said: “At the start of the week we were presented with our eggs, and we were all really excited waiting for the chicks to hatch. The residents have been researching how best to care for the chicks, and are looking forward to naming them all. On Thursday, the eggs hatched and we came face to face with our fluffy little chicks. The residents were so excited and are now coming up with names for the new arrivals here at Regency. It's great to see all of their little characters as they explore their new home.”
