Residents at Sunbridge Care Home in Edmonton have been indulging in some of their favourite past times, showing the care team their skills.
Resident Monica showcased her baking skills to carer Kiyona. Having a lovely laugh and a chat before enjoying the fruits of Monica’s hard work with a nice cup of tea.
Meanwhile, the Sunbridge Flower Club were showing off their talent of flower arranging with some beautiful displays being created that are now scattered throughout the home.
Deepak Luckhun, Home Manager, said: “It’s great to see the residents doing activities they enjoy. Life doesn’t stop just because you live in a care home. Naz and Shannon the two Personal Activities Leaders here at Sunbridge are committed to providing activities that will make a difference to the residents, giving them the opportunity to continue with old hobbies or start new ones.”
