Everyone at The Cedars and Larches Care Home in Ilkeston want to thank Debbie Spencer and her mum Kate (a resident in the home) for their kind donation of twiddle mats.
Twiddle mats provide much needed relief for people living with dementia as they are able to play with the various textures on there to soothe them.
Nina Wright, Home Manager, said: “Kate used to be a craft teacher and her daughter Debbie found some of her old work, which she fashioned into these mats.
“I want to thank you on behalf of everyone at the home. These mats will have a great impact on the residents.”
