Evelyn, a resident at The Sycamore and Poplars Care Home in Mansfield has turned her passion for knitting into a project to help the King’s Mill Neonatal Baby Unit.
Karen Gilbert, Home Manager, said: “Evelyn is a keen knitter, and has been keeping busy knitting clothes for the baby unit. She has received a lovely letter of thanks from the hospital, and this has spurred her on to knit more.
“If anyone would like to donate any spare wool to Evelyn’s cause, she won’t turn it away. She’s determined to knit another goodie bag full of clothes for the babies in the unit.”
