Care Home is rated as “outstanding” by Care Quality Commission
A Durham care home has been rated as “outstanding” overall by the Care Quality Commission. This is the highest possible rating a home can achieve. Following an unannounced CQC inspection, Langley Park Care Home was also rated as “good” for being safe, effective and well managed and it was rated as “outstanding” for being caring and for being responsive to its residents’ needs.
Local Senior Nursing Care Assistant wins Regional Care Accolade
Lavinia Rose from Havencourt Care Home in Stonehaven has been crowned the Regional Senior Nursing Care Assistant (SNCA) of the Year for Scotland, Wales, South West England and Bristolin the Four Seasons Health Care Awards 2017 and is through to the national finals.

Ashley Wright, who regularly visits her parent in The Laurels Care Home in Hetton-le-Hole has made the finals of the Four Season’s Care Awards in the Resident/Relative Contribution category for her commitment to helping the home go from strength to strength in its local community.
