As part of the drive to reduce infections across all health and social care environments, the Health Minister has extended a poster campaign for use in nursing care homes.

Four Season chefs displayed their talent at the National Association of Care Caterers (NACC) Cook of the Year competition. Sam Humphrey from Field View Care Home in Barnsley made it through to the Northern regional final, where he was up against stiff competition from fourteen chefs from a variety of operational backgrounds. Jose de Freitas, from Silver Springs Care Home in Jersey, and last years winner of this leg of the competition, once again represented Four Seasons in the South West final. Jose's pan fried grey mullets with citrus butter sauce and dill flavoured crushed Jersey Royals gained him second place.
Ringshill have won this year ‘Huntingdon in Bloom' competition again in the Huntingdon in Bloom Community Category. They have been entering the competition since 2003 and have built on their success winning all but two years. The home was visited by judges from Huntingdon District Council who were very impressed at this year's themed garden. "Audrey chose a scarecrow theme for this year's garden and we came top!!!!!
