Residents at Dolphin View Care Home, Amble, have enjoyed various festive activities over the past couple of weeks. On 11th December the home held their Christmas Fayre and Party for the residents and relatives, at which £214.20 was raised for the resident’s social fund. On 13th December the residents were entertained by the Year 4 pupils from Edwin Street First School, in Amble. The pupils came to perform their nativity play to residents which encompassed 'Christmas throughout the World'.

The CQC Inspector had a visit with a difference at Cherry Trees Care Home on 31st October. The unannounced inspection was is the middle of their Halloween celebrations although this didn’t scare the Inspector off. The latest report can be seen on the CQC website.

In support of genetic research on Friday 7th October Domnall staff proudly wore their "Jeans for Genes" pocketing of total of £70 for this worthwhile cause. They are planning "a regular fit" once a month in support of different charities.
