Carers were introduced to an eight week training programme organised by Barnsley Council. Carers joined Four Seasons Health Care on a bank basis, if the home manager wished for them to do so. The training has proved to be very successful and all of the four carers who completed the training have worked within the Yorkshire 3 region, under Bernadette Hinchcliffe and Rob Hammond. Jayne Clark met with Barnsley Council some months ago to discuss moving forward with this programme which was then put into place.
Barrington Lodge Care Home achieved finalist status for Care Team of the year, pictured from left is Jayne Wilkinson Senior Care Assistant, Tracy Daley Home Manager and Lisa McCleavey Registered General Nurse. Well done to everyone involved.
