Ormesby Grange Care Home in Middlesborough held a party recently to mark the Queens Diamond Jubilee joining the rest of the country in a glorious day of celebration.
Leading training provider, Babcock International Group, has been working with Hollie Hill care home in South Stanley, County Durham for the past year. Babcock vocational learning adviser, Lynette Simpson, has enjoyed great success with the site; a number of staff have achieved NVQ qualifications at Level 2 and are now progressing to Level 3 qualifications.
Bill and Eileen Weeks recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary at Cedar Court Care Home with a party at the home, the Mayor and Mayoress of Bexley visited the couple and joined in the celebrations. It is quite unique to have a 70th Platinum wedding anniversary and they received a card from the Queen. The Mayor and Mayoress were also very complimentary about the investment in the home and loved our 2 micro pigs, 4 chickens and 4 rabbits. They thought the home was unique and really enjoyed their visit! “Everyone enjoyed the day and it certainly was a special day to remember” Ian Buckland, Home Manager.
Warmley House Care Home has opened their newly created shop which sits within the gardens of the home.
