Bebington Care Home in Wirral, Merseyside held a Cake Sale and Quiz Morning for their Macmillan 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' held on 27th September 2013. They raised the amazing sum of £63.00 for Macmillan Cancer Research.
Norwood Green Care Home in Southall, Middlesex held a cake sale for their Macmillan 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' and raised the amazing sum of £40 with the sale cakes that were baked by the residents and friends of relatives, as well as staff. The coffee morning was attended by staff, residents from all units, and their relatives. Many fun activities were arranged including a very long and entertaining conga line (as you can see from the photographs).
For Macmillan's 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' on Friday 27 September 2013, Redwell Hills Care Home in Consett, County Durham raised an impressive £640. This was largely because of Care Assistant, Annette Embleton, who had her shaved by her husband during the fund raising event, raising a massive £500. The further £140 was raised by other staff members, residents and relatives on the day through a cake sale with extra fun activities such as a tombola and raffle.
