Park House Care Home in Wellingborough, Northants was visited by a local VIP as the Mayor of Wellingborough turned up to have a look round and chatted to the residents. Throughout his visit, the Mayor interacted with the residents on the residential floor who were taking part in a movement with music activity, and with the residents on the nursing floor who were making paper mache models. The mayor toured the whole home and spoke with nearly all of the residents and relatives. By the end of his three hour visit he was very impressed with what he'd seen and said to Jayne, the Home Manager that he just loves the way the staff and visitors interact with each other and how the home has such an inviting atmosphere.
