Marlborough Court Care Home, Thamesmead recently held a “Focus on Excellence” Manager’s study day, with Four Seasons Health Care staff attending.
The Nursing and Residential Care Awards recognise people who are outstanding within their care roles and this year Murrayfield Care Home received two high commendations for their services.
We are pleased to announce we have two finalists in this year’s Nursing Times Awards from the Northern Ireland and Wales Commissioning Services. The finalists are Gary Mitchell - Dementia Care Advisor for the Rising Star category and Gary Cousins - Infection Control & Clinical Development Nurse for the Infection Prevention & Control category. Congratulations to both of them for their excellent work. The Nursing Times Awards has had a record-breaking year for entries and once again the judges were extremely impressed with the high standard.
A memorable occasion was held at Murrayfield Nursing Home on 26th June when their new city garden was officially opened by the recently appointed Mayor of Upper Edmonton, Ali Bakir.
Louise Hart, one of Half Acre’s dedicated team of nurses and carers was recently presented with the prestigious Four Seasons Health Care ROCK (Recognition of Care and Kindness) Award for showing an exemplary standard of care towards residents. Louise was presented with the award by Half Acre’s Home Manager Dan Berry. The Award is particularly deserved as winners are nominated by relatives and residents.
