Osbourne Court Care Home in Baldock recently arranged a ‘Dress to Impress’ day. The team decided the day would give the opportunity for residents and the team to feel glamourous for the day. They organised a small party for the afternoon and invited a local performer to come and entertain the residents.

The team all supported each other and helped the residents pamper themselves in preparation for the day. The residents chose their favourite outfits to wear for the party and invited their family and friends to join in the fun. Ringshill Care Home in Huntingdon were recently treated to a unique performance by a Majorette’s group from the local area. The team invited families and friends to join them and the residents for the performance.

Harmony Majorette’s put on a spectacular performance for the guests. David Dicks, Chef at Ringshill, arranged for the group to come and perform for the residents as his daughter is a member. As the weather was nice, they were able to do the performance outside in the courtyard. All the residents were so impressed by the Majorette’s – especially knowing the youngest member was just 3 years old.

Katie Wilkinson, Care Home Manager, told us “The performance was great – it was nice to have something different like this arranged for the residents. They were all extremely impressed, as were the guests that joined us. Thank you David for arranging this”.
