Golden couple George and Florence celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in style last week.
The couple, who reside at Bracknell Care Home in Bracknell spoke to Tasha Corbett, Personal Activities Lead at the home, about how they wanted to make their day special.
After getting all of the information, Tasha set to work.
“Both George and Florence are music lovers,” explained Tasha. “So I thought I’d take them to George Clooney’s local pub in Sonning, the Bull Inn. It’s a beautiful place. Here the lovely couple enjoyed their favourite dinner of sausage and mash. They then enjoyed a night of music and dancing listening to a Michael Bublè tribute act as well as some Soul and Mowtown songs. George and Florence looked so happy and in love, it was truly a night to remember.”
George and Florence told us: “We had a fantastic anniversary night at the Bull Inn. We danced and laughed the night away. We want to thank Tasha for making our day extra special.”
