April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:

Amilyn Acorda, Laundry Assistant at Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside has been crowned VIP for the month of December after being nominated by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Amilyn first joined the team at Laurels Lodge on November 2013. She is well known to her colleagues to be very organised and hardworking.
Morag Leslie, Senior Nursing Care Assistant, said: “Amilyn is patient, organised and lovely person to work with.” Another colleague Mina Groves said: “Amylin is very hardworking and conscientious.”
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “Amilyn has made a big difference in the laundry services at Laurels Lodge when she started working here. She has changed the overall perception of the home’s laundry and for the last 4 years, we have not received any concerns or issues about the laundry. Amilyn is very organised, dedicated and hardworking and all her colleagues appreciate her work. Well done Amilyn and thank you for all you do”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives.
