Laura Butler a Care Assistant from Churchfield Care Home in Mansfield has received an award after being commended for her caring nature.
Laura was nominated for a Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) award by a family member of a resident in her care. The nomination from Mr Parrot read: “The care Laura gave to my husband while he was in the care of Churchfield was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, and we all felt we could ask Laura for anything and she would do her very best for us and for my husband.”
A ROCK award is a nationwide honour that specifically highlights the impact a Four Season Health Care employee has made on the lives of people living in one of their care homes. An internal prize, staff are nominated for an award by either residents, their relatives or friends, who have witnessed or experienced staff members demonstrating excellent standards of care and kindness in their role.
Katherine Davies, Home Manager said: “This award for Laura is very well deserved. I want to congratulate her on her success and thank her for all of her hard work and determination. Laura is kind, caring and compassionate, and is a fantastic advocate for this award. We thought this would be a nice welcome back present, as Laura has been off on maternity leave. It’s a lovely endorsement and I want to thank Mrs Parrot for taking the time to recognise the work Laura and the rest of the team do.”
