An air of celebration was in the air at Gosmore Care Home in Hitchin as five members of the care team have been commended for their care and kindness. The home, run by Four Seasons pulled out all of the stops to congratulate the team who have been commended for making a difference to a resident in their care.
Representatives from Four Seasons Health Care were joined by the local Mayor, who presented the individuals with their awards, and personally thanked them for their dedication to care.
Christina Hartles, Home Manager at Gosmore said: “I’m very proud of the team here, they regularly go the extra mile to make a difference to the residents they care for. These five awards show that every member of the team in the home cares for the residents that live here. Well done everyone! These awards are very well deserved.”
Madam Mayor Pam Stuart, Mayor of Hitchin, said: “I was honoured to present these awards to the team today. Hearing nice stories about people in care homes is fantastic and should be celebrated. It was great spending time with the residents at the after party too. They all spoke very highly of the team here at Gosmore.
After the presentation, everyone enjoyed a good old party.
Marjorie Condacos, Managing Director for the South East of England, said: “The team were all nominated for these awards by residents of relatives in their care. I don’t think there is any higher commendation than that. It’s fantastic to see that the team here are making a difference not only to the residents’ lives but to their families as well. I want to echo Christina’s sentiments and congratulate you all once again.”
