Janet Lovelock, a Care Assistant from Kingswood Court Care Home in Bristol has received an award after being commended for her caring nature.
Janet was nominated for a Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) award by two people in her care. Her nominations read: “Janet gives outstanding care going above and beyond her normal duties. She is always happy to help residents, their families and her colleagues. The residents are all very fond of her and miss her on her days off. Janet is loyal, trustworthy and reliable & often works through her break to help someone.”
“Janet is very caring and nothing is too much trouble for her. Janet is a very loyal member of the team and has a very good rapport with all the residents at home.”
A ROCK award is a nationwide honour that specifically highlights the impact a Four Season Health Care employee has made on the lives of people living in one of their care homes. An internal prize, staff are nominated for an award by either residents, their relatives or friends, who have witnessed or experienced staff members demonstrating excellent standards of care and kindness in their role.
Valerie Russell, Home Manager said: “This award for Janet is very well deserved. I want to congratulate her on her success and thank her for all of her hard work and determination. The relationship she has with the residents in the home is beautiful to see. It’s a lovely endorsement and I want to thank the two people for taking the time to recognise the work Janet and the rest of the team do.”
