April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:

Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside unanimously crowned Care Assistant Ewa Misztal as the VIP for the month of May.
Debra, a relative of a resident who nominated Ewa, said: “Ewa has always got a smile and really wants the best for the people she looks after. She helps the resident enjoy themselves at all the social gatherings and has a kind and pleasant nature.”
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “Ewa has been working at Laurels Lodge for almost 4 years now; she brings joy to everyone, residents, relatives and colleagues. One anonymous person who nominated Ewa said that she is friendly and is always happy and tries to help residents and staff. ‘She’s like sunshine into this home’.”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives.”
