Residents from Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside enjoyed a fish and chip supper as part of National Fish and Chip Day.
Residents received a free supper from a local chippy who is very highly rated in the area.
Lillian Cameron, a resident at the home, said: “It was nice being out for lunch, the fish and chips were really nice.”
Cathy Nicol, a resident at the home said: “I bloomin’ love fish and chips and really enjoyed it today. Thanks everyone.”
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “This was a really nice gesture from our local chippy. What they have done today made a difference to our residents who were able to experience a proper chippy tea which is tradition, especially for today.”
