April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:

Anna Kurpanik, Care Assistant at Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside has been crowned VIP for the month of October after being nominated by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Anna joined the team at Laurels Lodge last September 2015 first as a Domestic Assistant, but because of her passion for caring, she changed her job role and became a Care Assistant. She has completed her SVQ 2 qualification last September 2017. Anna was nominated by a relative and her colleagues for her care and kindness, and for her strength as a person.
Anna is also well-liked by the residents, one resident said that “Anna is a nice girl and that she is good to her.”
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “I am glad for Anna being the VIP for the month of October, she deserves this recognition, and I thank Anna for all her hard work and dedication.”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives. Congratulations Anna, you should be really proud of your success.”
