Congratulations go to the team at Regency Care Home in Whitefield, after being commended for their care and kindness.
Nichola Birkett, Acting Home Manager, presented six Recognition of Care and Kindness (ROCK) awards to various members of the team after being commended for their care and compassion shown and the skill in which they deliver care to their residents living with dementia.
Nichola Birkett said: “I’m very proud of the team here, they regularly go the extra mile to make a difference to the residents they care for, this has been shown especially in recent weeks when the home was going through the Dementia Care Framework. These awards show that every member of the team in the home cares for the residents that live here. Well done everyone! These awards are very well deserved.”
After the presentation, everyone enjoyed themselves with a slice of cake.
A ROCK award is a nationwide honour that specifically highlights the impact a Four Season Health Care employee has made on the lives of people living in one of their care homes. An internal prize, staff are nominated for an award by either residents, their relatives or friends, who have witnessed or experienced staff members demonstrating excellent standards of care and kindness in their role.
