April 2017 saw Four Seasons’ Health Care Grampian Region launch their VIP (Values In Practice) initiative which rewards people for living the Four Seasons values of being:
- and Making a Difference
Tracy Flippence, Care Assistant at Woodside Care Home in Woodside has been crowned VIP for the month of April after being nominated by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Gail Hay, Home Manager, said: “Tracy was our VIP for April because she has lived all the values this month, making a difference to residents and their families. The nominations credited Tracy with going that extra mile to support a resident and their family after bereavement. She helped to make a ‘keepsake box’ for the resident to keep their loved one’s photos, wedding ring and other sentimental items in memory of their loved one. This is why you’re our VIP Tracy.”
Sylvia Nicoll, Regional Manager for Grampian, said: “No matter how big or small the action or the gesture is, the VIP Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to people who go above and beyond the call of duty every day to make a difference to our residents’ lives.
“Congratulations Tracy, you should be really proud of your success.”
