When Daily Mail columnist Fiona Phillips wrote her latest article, a feature on bad care homes, a relative of a resident fought back to defend the care provided by Charlton Park Care Home in London.
The relative’s response to the article said: “My husband with Parkinson’s and dementia is there. All staff call residents by their first names and treats them with the utmost patience and care.
“The rooms are comfortable and the food is good, (I have meals with him often), relatives are treated with respect and any problems are sorted immediately.”
Miheale Munteanu, Home Manager, said: “It’s lovely to hear positive praise especially from a resident’s relative. I want to thank the relative for taking the time to defend care homes, and specifically Charlton Park on a national stage.”
