Residents enjoy doll therapy at Preston Glades

Residents at Preston Glades Care Home in Preston have been spending some quality time with their therapy dolls who resemble newborn babies.

Jacqui Longden, Home Manager, said: “The dolls are greatly loves by all of the residents and give a nice sense of belonging and peacefulness in the home. Doll therapy has fantastic benefits for those residents who live with dementia as they can have a soothing effect, often transporting the resident back to their younger years either with their own families or when they were children.
