Residents at Beech Tree House Care Home in Goole took a step back in time last week when they celebrated life with a 1950s themed day.
Families and residents filled one of the lounges as entertainer Elaine treated them to popular songs from the 1940s and 1950s, and some were even up dancing when they heard old favourites including 'Down at the Old Bull and Bush' and 'When You're Smiling'.
Staff really made the occasion by dressing in 1950s themed attire with some residents joining them and others adorning their hair with 1950s style ribbons and bows.
It was a lovely, nostalgic afternoon, bringing back happy memories and making some new ones too!
